Privacy policy
Irrigation Designer runs entirely in your browser. It has no user accounts, sets no tracking cookies, and runs no analytics. Every design, background image, and setting is stored only in your browser's local IndexedDB and localStorage on your own device, and nothing you draw is ever uploaded to a server by the app.

What data does Irrigation Designer collect?
None that identifies you. There is no sign-up and no login. Irrigation Designer sets no first-party cookies, embeds no advertising or tracking pixels, and runs no analytics or telemetry of any kind. The canvas app never sends your work anywhere: the only requests it makes are for its own files from this site, plus a check by its offline service worker for a newer version.
The one channel that does reach a person is email. Writing to the address below, or using the Send Feedback button in the footer, opens your own mail app — so whatever you choose to send, including your email address, arrives in a mailbox. Nothing else on this site has a way to reach us.
Where are my designs stored?
On your device only. The current design autosaves to your browser's IndexedDB, and your display preferences and language choice are kept in localStorage. Where a browser blocks IndexedDB entirely, the autosave falls back to localStorage on that same device rather than to any server. These never leave the browser they were created in. Clearing your browser data for this site deletes them permanently, so use Export to save a JSON copy of anything you want to keep.
Does the site use cookies or local storage?
The site sets no cookies. It uses IndexedDB and localStorage purely to hold your own saved work and settings on your machine. Nothing stored there is used to identify, profile, or track you, and none of it is readable by us.
What does the hosting provider see?
This site is served as static files by Firebase Hosting, which is operated by Google. Like any web server, it may keep short-lived access logs containing your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, and your browser's user-agent string, for security and operational purposes. Those logs are the only record of your visit that exists anywhere, they are handled under Google's own terms, and the application adds no logging of its own on top of them.
Is anything sent to an AI service?
Not on this site. An optional feature that would send an uploaded sketch to Google Gemini for rescaling exists in the codebase, but it is switched off in two independent places — in the app itself and at the server route — and is disabled by default in both. It only becomes reachable if an operator running their own copy deliberately turns both on. On this site it is off, so no image or design ever reaches an AI provider.

Links to GitHub and Ko-fi lead to third-party sites that have their own privacy practices and are not covered by this policy. Following them is your choice, and this site shares no information with them when a page loads.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date shown under the heading at the top of this page is updated. Because the app itself collects nothing, a change here would reflect a change in hosting, or in an optional feature, rather than in what the tool does with your work.
