Terms of use
These terms cover your use of the Irrigation Designer website and browser app. The tool is free, open source under the MIT License, and provided as is with no warranty. It is a planning aid, not professional engineering advice: check every layout, flow figure, and material list against manufacturer data and local rules before you build.

Accepting these terms
Using this website or the Irrigation Designer canvas means you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the tool.
The tool is provided "as is"
Irrigation Designer is open-source software released under the MIT License, whose full text is the LICENSE file in the source repository on GitHub. It is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. You use it at your own risk.
It is not professional engineering advice
The sprinkler database and the coverage, flow, and spacing figures the app produces are estimates built from publicly published manufacturer specifications. Real-world results depend on your actual water pressure, pipe sizing, elevation, soil, and weather. Verify the design against current product data and your local plumbing and irrigation codes, and consult a qualified professional where one is required.
The project and its author are not liable for water damage, plant or crop loss, wasted materials, cost overruns, or code violations arising from a design made with this tool.
Your designs belong to you
You keep every right to the drawings, images, and project files you create. The project claims no ownership of and no licence over your work, and cannot access it: your files stay in your browser on your device.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service or the systems that host it. If you reuse the source code, follow the terms in the repository's LICENSE file, which include keeping its copyright notice.
Third-party links and services
Links to GitHub, Ko-fi, and any optional AI provider lead to services governed by their own terms and policies, not these.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the author and contributors are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the website or the app.
Changes and contact
These terms may be updated; the date under the heading at the top of this page shows when. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms. Questions can go to info@irrigation-designer.app.
